RESPONSE BIDS
Response bid by partners can be similar to an opening bid using the bidding term according to one's 'hand'. Response by a partner may be in the same suit or in another suit. A player may bid the same suit which the opponents have already bid, but should realise the consequences. This may bid necessary when the team is aiming to 56 points. The dealer's team may or may not take up the bidding depending on their hands even when the opponents have started bidding. The bidding and response bids should be in such a way as to win more tricks in that suit.

BIDDING TERMS
Specific terms are used to convey some information about the values and distribution of the cards by the bidder to his partners. These terms usually imply the next high ranking cards in a hand. If a partner has only low raning cards, he may still bid using specific terms for low ranking cards if it is necessary to know the distribution of the 12 cards in a suit. Also, it is important to know the absence of any particular suit. An opening bidder need not use the bidding terms, but its use is highly recommended by responding partners. The following bidding terms are used.

ONE-PLUS implies the partner has one adjacent high ranking card along with one or more non-significant lower ranking cards in the same suit. If the opening bidder has a 'P', then this response bid means another 'P' and other lower ranking cards. If both 'P's have been bid, then it means 'M' and other cards in the same suit and so on.

TWO-PLUS, THREE-PLUS ETC implies that the partner has the adjacent two, three etc higher ranking cards also with one or more non-significant lower ranking cards.

PLUS-ONE implies the partner has only one adjacent higher ranking card in the same suit and no other cards in the same suit.

PLUS-TWO, PLUS-THREE ETC implies adjacent higher ranking cards exactly corresponding to the number bidden.

NO-SUIT implies the absense of a suit in a player's hand which his partner or opponent has bidden. No-suit can be bidden only after his partner or opponent has bidden a particular suit. The name of the suit may be mentioned when saying no-suit. The bidding will be increased at least by one point. The bidding point also is increased accordingly to the bidding terms and is said at the beginning of the bid, For example,. if the bidding term used is 'TWO-PLUS', then the bid will be 34 if the previous bidder has bid 32.
